The Zombies Have a New Weapon

There’s no doubt that we’re huge fans of the K’Nex line of toys. Whether we’re building a roller coaster, recreating a world from Super Mario Brothers or battling each other in Plants vs. Zombies, we enjoy building and playing with them as a family. Our girls have discovered a love for creating new things once they’re done with the original sets and even took up making jewelry out of some of the unused K’Nex pieces!

K’Nex has recently expanded on their Plants vs. Zombies line and created something new and unique – motorized remote control K’Nex vehicles!

These new “Mech” vehicles will appeal to the child that doesn’t want to sit at a table and play. Because these are remote controlled, you can take them almost anywhere!

Both products represent the Zombie faction, so if you’re a Plants fan, you’re in for a bad day. These mechs carry your zombie directly at the Plants line, mercilessly stomping and plowing their way through.

Each are powered by two (not included) AA batteries and take less than a half hour to assemble. Because of the small pieces and the complexity of the moving parts, it is best suited for children over 7. I’m over 7 (just barely) and I have to admit they were quite fun to assemble!

With Black Friday just around the corner, watch for great deals on all K’Nex products. You can find these Mechs on Amazon for around $15, which seems like a bargain for battery-powered toys! Be sure to check them out on Facebook and Twitter to see if they come up with something for the Plants to defend themselves!
