Do you know anything about today’s prize? If you’ve been a follower of our site for a while, you’ll recognize it from our Velonimo game overview. We have a monthly game meetup hosted by the City of Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department and this is a game that I always pack in case there are new attendees. It’s easy to teach, quick to play and fun, earning a spot on our holiday list of card games. If you’re still in need of gift ideas, grab a couple of copies! Don’t get to try new games as often as I’d like to – maybe 3-4 times/year.
I’m willing to play almost any quick card game, so I get the opportunity to try a new one almost every month.
I would say maybe every couple of months I try a new card game
We get new card games for birthdays! So twice a year, my birthday and husband’s birthday.
Card games are great because of their generally short learn and play time. Definitely add a new one every month or two.
I love how many card games can be a great filler either before the big game of the night while we are waiting for everyone to arrive, or as a nightcap after the big game. I try new card games every chance I get. My group has a wide variety of them and I always like adding more since they are fun, quick games that travel easily.

Not as often as I’d like! We try to use them for some date nights in since they tend to be quicker, but with a baby and a toddler…

Since I’ve gotten back into boardgaming I would say I try a new card game every month or so.
I’m not a huge fan of trying new card games…we have 4-5 that everyone likes and wants to play. I think we’ll just stick with those.
