Do you think Tesla or Edison was a better inventor?
That’s a hard question to answer. I’m going to have to go with Telsa on this one. Although I think Edison was brilliant as well.

  9. Dave Blizzard says:

    Tesla for sure.

  10. Donald Wayman says:

    Tesla

  11. Ryan Schenk says:

I think Nikola Tesla was a better inventor. The reason for this is that there have been studies that say that Thomas Edison stole his ideas from another man. Nikola Tesla was authentic and created the DC power we have today and many other inventions on his own. This is all the fact that he died penniless with all his money being taken by JP Morgan.

  12. Darlene Owen says:

I think Edison was the better inventor.

Don’t know enough. I need to do my research on that.

Tesla is the better because Mr. Edison stole a lot of his ideas! How can you get credit when you steal other peoples ideas and inventions?

Tough one. I have to say the light bulb is more commonly used than the AC motor. But I think in the next few decades AC motors will do more, and incandescent lights bulbs are already on the way out… tough one.

  30. Heather Bridson says:

Both, they had some differing thoughts and some scandal, but I think Tesla was more humanitarian than Edison.

  31. Kartikey says:

    Both are genius.

  32. clynsg says:

Tesla was the better inventor, but Edison had both more business smarts and a more shark like attitude toward business–to use a present day comparison!

    Tesla

  34. Brad R says:

Good argument. Tesla was the better mind but Edison was sort of a springboard for Tesla and the AC methods.
