The first time I saw The Night Cage, I was like, “Whoa, that’s dark.” Well, they’re running around a labyrinth trying to light up their way so it totally makes sense. And despite the (literally) dark board, it’s not a scary game and is actually cooperative making it a great game for families. On the other hand, it requires some strategic thinking on where and how to proceed so that earned it a spot on our list of games for teens and adults. If this sounds like your kind of game (or one you will be gifting), pick up a copy direct from Smirk & Dagger. The ones on Amazon are from resellers who know that this is a hot game this year! You can also enter to win the copy they’ve set aside for one of our readers!
