When I say I love going to the gym each week, I’m not joking. I’m absolutely serious. Since moving back from California and starting our Y membership it has been one of the most important parts of my week. I actually schedule appointments around the class I like to take to ensure I don’t miss it. The classes are hard but I work to do my best. I certainly have seen some improvements over time. Unfortunately there’s one thing I always have difficulty with and haven’t found a way to “improve” – anything requiring jumping.
It isn’t that I don’t like jumping, it’s that my body doesn’t like me jumping. It’s actually kind of funny when you think about it. Alright, maybe it isn’t “ha ha” funny but it is something we have to laugh about. If we don’t laugh then how can we really to get through the comedic error of the problem. Let me paint a picture for you.
As part of the class, one of the activities is to run around the track, down then up the stairs, around the track some more then stop and do wall jumps before repeating the entire cycle again. For me, I add a little extra to the trip. When I get to the bottom of the stairs, I turn the corner and head to the bathroom. Whether it’s wall jumps or jumping jacks or some other activity involving jumping, it usually involves an extra trip to the bathroom in the middle of class. At least for me. This is when the comedic part of it comes into play. Seldom am I the only woman from class who headed to the restroom. We laugh and talk about how our kids did this to us and our bladders just can’t handle it.
It’s a very common problem. I have said before that I’m a very private person and it is very difficult for me to talk about private matters. Sometimes it’s worth talking about. For that reason, I want to tell you about SAM (Super Absorbent Material) by Poise. These super-thin SAM microliners let you go about your life with more confidence. While you still may need to make a trip to the restroom during class at the gym, at least you won’t feel like you’ve had an accident along the way.
How many times have you seen people use a Band-Aid to stop a bloody nose? You don’t! It’s always best to use a product designed specifically for the problem and Poise microliners have a specific purpose. Unlike period liners, these are made specifically for light bladder leakage. They absorb wetness and neutralize odor. They aren’t bulky though. Even folded over in the packaging, they are as thin as a penny!
If you’ve experienced any of these problems before – leakage during jumps or sneezes from allergy season or even from laughing, then I encourage you to order a free liner sample to try out.
