Holiday Giveaways 2022 – Frosthaven by Cephalofair Games
Each year when we launch our mega giveaways in conjunction with our holiday gift guides, we try to make a big splash. During the holidays, we’re able to utilize our resources to collect donations for the children’s hospital while also securing prizes for our readers as a thank you for support throughout the year. We have a lot of great products up for grabs with new giveaways starting a couple times a day now through the end of the year. Thanks to the generosity of Ceophalofair Games, we’re kicking things off with Frosthaven which was included in our guide to games for teens and adults. I don’t know about you, but we’re pretty excited about this. Using the form below, there are multiple different ways to enter. Come back each day for the bonus entry and find others to enter also. We have a slow track record with campaign games, we finish them but it takes awhile. I’d hope to play 1-2 a month!!
On our first attempt at Gloomhaven, we spaced the sessions out. After a few months of hit and miss playing, it just didn’t feel right. So we did a reset, started from scratch then made a commitment to try 1-2 runs each Sunday with breaks ever once in a while for new titles. It became addictive. I’m hoping we can do that for Frosthaven too.

I would play with my wife every Sunday night until we either beat it or the game wears out!
I left Gloomhaven set up for several weeks, and tried to play at least a few turns every night. Probably get through a scenario every few days. I’d imagine I’ll tackle Frosthaven in the exact same way 🙂
I’d probably commit to about once every 2 weeks as long as it works well solo. I don’t know if I could get the right group together to play it consistently!

I had a group play the physical copy of Gloomhaven every Monday. When we finished that, we played it on Steam. I am sure my same groups would be ready to start playing Frosthaven weekly again. So excited for this one!

Way things are now monthly, But we really need to get back to a family game night.
My game group has been managing a meet up about once or twice a month. We’re currently working through Jaws of the Lion. I love it.

Once a week like we are doing with Gloomhaven!
I was looking forward to playing this game with my friends one day. I can’t afford things like these as of right now so I’m really thankful for chance to win.
I would play once or twice a week
It would be nice to play once or twice a month, but table space and, you know, life.
This is a once a week game, for 2-3 hours.
Hopefully we would play every Saturday until we burned out.

For a group of 2, we’ll try for a 1-2 games a month. If not that often, maybe I can tackle it solo a little more often.
