Never seen a bear in person.
We have black bears in the area and I saw one crossing the road about a year ago. At first I thought it was a big dog.

I saw one in by driveway last fall.
I live in the Yukon so bear sightings are common. The last one I saw was in September – a beautiful grizzly. 🙂

LAST TIME I SAW A BEAR IN PERSON WAS WHILE I WAS ON A WALK IN NS.,CANADA.ONE RAN ACROSS THE ROAD IN FRONT OF US.I WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED.
Would of seen a bear last in early July this year at the zoo!
I can see a stuffed animal bear in a cabinet across from where I am sitting. I don’t recall ever seeing a real live bear though…..Oh I remember seeing one in an old movie this year though…It was a terrible movie. I can’t remember the name of it but it had Bing Crosby and Carole Lombard in it.
TOO MANY YEARS AGO.
Last winter was the last time I saw a bear in person. It was starving and apparently came out of hibernation or was disturbed and forced out . It ran through our property terrified. There isn’t any undisturbed land for large animals like bears to live anymore even though I’m in a rural area.
The last time i saw a bear was on our property, by the wild blueberry patch. The dogs were with me, so they barked and the bear got spooked and ran away.

I traveled to several National Parks this year and there was a bear near the road at Yellowstone.

It has been 35 years since I saw a bear in person. President Teddy Roosevelt (Teddy because of a bear) went on a great bear hunt during his presidency outside of Onward, MS. I lived there during my childhood. The bus picked us up bright and early every day. One morning, a black bear cub showed himself!
The last time I saw a bear was at the zoo most likely, but that was a long time ago.
