Tantalizing Brunch Buffets in Davenport
With Easter just around the corner and Mother’s Day not far behind, I cannot help but think of food. To be fair, it doesn’t take holidays for me to think of food, but Easter always revolves around a dinner filled with family recipes and Mother’s Day usually involves going out to brunch somewhere. So… food.
From a good sushi buffet to traditional home-cooked including prime rib, there are plenty of options around the Quad Cities. Of course, any time of year we are happy to enjoy a good brunch buffet. We’ve long enjoyed eating until we’re ready to burst then forgoing food for the remainder of the day. We have lots of options, but there’s construction on the I-74 bridge. Since I prefer not to have to navigate that mess right now, I’ll focus on some of our favorite brunch buffets in Davenport. Loosen your belt a notch and enjoy!

You’ll find delicious foods including fresh cut produce for salads, carving stations, omelet stations, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and plenty to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Robert’s Buffet at Rhythm City Casino

You don’t need to be a fan of gambling to roll the dice on this buffet. It’s filled with traditional brunch buffet delights such as waffles, an omelet bar, biscuits and gravy, breakfast meats and more. But you’ll also find an incredibly variety of other offerings including a full salad buffet, soups, fresh fruits, specialty crepes, Asian favorites, children’s options and even a carving bar with gourmet sausages, prime rib and other meats. So many delicious options are ready for you to fill up on but don’t forget to save room for dessert. The variety changes with each visit and includes cakes, pies, sugar-free sweets and… wait for it… a wheel of gelato! With flavors like grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and tangerine, you very well may wish to START at the dessert table.

The menu is more limited than a buffet-centric restaurant, but everything they offer is quality and full of options. You can design your own donuts or create your favorite omelet, breakfast sandwich or Eggs Benedict. You’ll be able to indulge in prime rib along with traditional breakfast items such as bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy hash browns, French toast and pastries. Iowa Machine Shed
7250 Northwest Boulevard, Davenport
We originally introduced you to the Iowa Machine Shed in our list of restaurants to visit in Davenport. It can be a bit crowded so be sure to plan accordingly. Leave room for homemade desserts to wrap up your meal after indulging in an omelet bar, a waffle bar, traditional breakfast foods, a carving station and more.
Golden Corral
5202 Elmore Avenue, Davenport
Okay, so this is a major chain, but it has its benefits. Aside from a lot of tasty options for adults, there are plenty of choices for kids too. While most of the prior listings are regular restaurants with a buffet on weekends or special occasions, Golden Corral is always the same. You know what to expect before you arrive.
There are so many delicious foods to enjoy and a lot of awesome desserts in the Quad Cities, but if you want it all in one place then these buffets are the way to go. A word of caution though, wear comfortable clothes and don’t plan to eat the rest of the day.
Have you tried any of these buffets? Which is your favorite?
