Sept. 18th is National Cheeseburger Day
If I ever had to put together a list of “Food That I Love But I Know Are Bad For Me”, somewhere near the top would be cheeseburgers. Which seems odd to me because we weren’t the type of family to gorge ourselves on burgers when I was little. Grilled cheese sandwiches and Spaghetti-O’s we’re my regular fare. Somewhere along the line I developed a love for ground beef covered in cheese and squished between two halves of a bun.
I’m not picky about my cheeseburgers either. Almost any cheese will do, as will the other toppings. Of course I have favorites like one with bacon, onions and BBQ sauce and nothing else. I’ve also been known to try weird combinations that feature fried eggs, pulled pork or even some difficult-to-pronounce sauce straight from Asia. They’re all worthy of trying, if at least once!

This made my day…and my lunch, I’m getting a cheeseburger!
We were able to enjoy a nice dinner with the grandkids at Red Robin yesterday.
Red Robin is my favorite place to go for a good burger, there’s a few other listed I like too.
I did not know September 18th was National Cheeseburger Day! It seems like there is a day for everything, (which I missed a lot of them). You sure do know a lot about cheeseburgers! A few of the restaurants you mentioned, I don’t know. I know Wendy’s, White Castle, and Red Robin. They have some of the tastiest burgers made to your liking. I have to have a taste for sliders. My husband love Angus burgers and meat. I just am jealous and miserable, because I haven’t had any kind of burgers or meat since my oral surgery last November!!
I’m always up for a good cheeseburger. I just read that BurgerFi is one of only 2 or 3 chains that has zero antibiotics in it’s meat…I hope they open one near me because I’m all for that. I didn’t know there was a specific day to enjoy a cheeseburger, but I will be watching for all the deals next year.
I love a good cheeseburger! 🙂
I love a good cheeseburger
I’m going to have to pay attention to this later this year.
National Cheeseburger Day sounds like my kind of day! Why not? Seems like there is a day for everything. Hope they open a BurgerFi locally
