Dress up, knock on doors and get free candy. Kids and adults alike enjoy the thrill of taking on a new persona to hitting the streets for that one special night of the year. And who can resist an adorable dog costume to boot?! It’s that time of year to grab a Halloween costume before all the coolest ones are snatched up! .

Last year we offered a list of the Top 20 Halloween Costumes with a focus on all the geekiness that is normal for us here at SAHM Reviews. The highlights included Marvel and video games mostly. This year, we’re continuing on our theme of movies and TV shows plus a little extra that hits home with us. 

What we like best is that most of the costumes are available for both kids and adults, which some even being available for pets! Bonus points for the fact that you can reuse these costumes for CosPlay at conventions throughout the year. With the release of World of Warcraft Classic, the summer blockbuster Toy Story, the recent JOKER movie, the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, a resurgence in popularity of Plants vs Zombies and Zelda here are a few of the reasons these costumes are sure to be a hit!

Maleficent

She’s evil, but she’s also pretty stunning. This officially licensed costume includes the black satin dress with Velcro back and elastic waistband, an attached foam collar, molded silver plastic raven skull brooch and plastic molded h>orn headband.

Kristoff (Frozen)

Transform into the lovable Kristoff character from Frozen, one of Disney’s most popular animated feature films. Officially licensed costume includes hat, tunic, belt and a pair of boot covers.

Elsa (Frozen)

Who can resist the beautiful Elsa from Frozen? This officially licensed dress will make any child feel like a princess! Shoes not included.

Ursela (Little Mermaid)

Peashooter (Plants vs Zombies)

Bet you didn’t realize this franchise was starting to grow on people! This Peashooter jumpsuit has back zipper with appliqued eyes and mesh-covered mouth. Booties have vinyl soles, up-turned pointed toes and rib-knit ankle cuffs. Headpiece is padded for shape, with inner hood for positioning while the leaf-shaped mitts have foam cuffs & padding.

D.Va (Overwatch)

D.Va was a hit last year and is back again! Not only can adults take on this sassy persona but so can kids! The jumpsuit has hook and loop fastener at center back and foam shoulder pads. The plastic headset slides on.

Rey (Star Wars)

She’s charging into theaters again this December! The officially licensed Star Wars Rey costume will have your young fans feeling empowered. The deluxe jumpsuit includes attached sash, detached sleeves, cuff, and belt with pouch.

Ghostbusters

Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS! This officially licensed Ghostbusters costume, includes a long-sleeve jumpsuit with zip front closure and black inflatable proton backpack. It’s a timeless classic! Check out the variety of Ghostbuster costumes for the entire family!

Beetlejuice

Mal (Disney Descendants)

Loot Llama (Fortnite)

UPS Delivery Dog

At this time of year, we see the delivery crews at our house daily – or multiple times daily – to drop off packages for our holiday gift guide and charity drive. We couldn’t resist a shout-out to all their hard work by encouraging a UPS costume for the pup. We suspect he’ll be collecting treats instead of delivering packages!
