In conjunction with our holiday gift guides filled with gift ideas for everyone on your list, we're having a mega giveaway with over 150 days of prizes!

Chess is a game that everyone should learn when they are kids. You don’t have to master it, but the concepts are excellent for learning to think ahead and recognizing the consequences of actions. This strategic thinking can be applied to games as well as life itself.

But let’s be honest. It’s frustrating when someone comments about a rook when you thought it was called a castle. Why can’t these things have normal pop culture names? Like Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy? THAT would make it a lot easier to grasp during the learning process. Once you already understand the concepts, remembering the piece names will be easier! Whether you already know how to play or are new to the game, enter to win this Disney Mickey: The True Original Collector’s Chess Set from USAopoly!

  9. I have never learned chess.

Mickey Mouse collectibles??? Where do I start? My whole kitchen is in Mickey Mouse. I have Mickey Mouse bedding, a Mickey Mouse as ice skater Paul Wylie big figure, a Disneyland Castle stained glass lamp, and more. I even have a Christopher Radko Mickey Mouse stained glass tree topper, Mickey Mouse garden statue, Mickey Mouse Christmas garden statue, Mickey Mouse bathroom including shower curtain, bench, bathroom accessory set, towels, and shower curtain hooks. Shall I go on? My television even has Mickey Mouse ears. I am a Mickey Mouse collector!

  18. I learned to play chess way back in the day before computers, but I am entering this contest because my son, who competes and teaches chess to school aged children would LOVE this set and would share this with his students.
