I was first introduced to books by Eric Carle when Madison was in a Mommy and Me program in California. The teacher had created lessons around his Brown Bear book. When she was in kindergarten, the class put on a performance of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and somewhere in that, we had a The Grouchy Ladybug game. Even though the girls are beyond the age of appreciating his works, I’m pleased to see that his books are continuing to be turned into board games because it’s a great way to get kids interested in playing board games. Our Day 145 Mega Giveaway prize fits right into this: The World of Eric Carle Around the Farm Game from Briarpatch / University Games. Here’s your chance to pick one up for your young gamer.
