Forget Your Makeup? It’s Okay!

Forget Your Makeup? It’s Okay!

Picture this: 4 am on Saturday. We were finishing getting ready for a trip to Chicago for the Chicago Toy and Game Fair.  We needed to be there by 7:30 and the drive is like 3 hours.I wasn’t worried. The night before, I had charged all my tech stuff, packed my suitcase and helped the kids with theirs. At the last minute before heading out, I realized what I had forgotten…

…my makeup!

It isn’t that I was overly busy at 4 am in the morning. Not even that I was too tired to think. Actually, I was pretty excited. It had nothing to do with any of that. Remembering to put my makeup on has been a problem for the past month. Ever since I started using Lancôme DreamTone.

I’ve been using it every morning and every night for a month. When I get out of the shower, I’ve applied it but don’t like putting makeup on right away. After I’ve gotten dressed and done my hair, I go back to put on my makeup.  If I remember, of course.

The reason that I easily forget is because look in the mirror and don’t see my naked self. You know, that feeling when you are totally without makeup and swear you don’t want anyone to see you that way.I don’t FEEL naked. Lancôme DreamTone creates a natural skin tone just like I like. Since I’m a minimalist when it comes to makeup, it serves as a perfect foundation. As you can see from the photo, there isn’t a whole lot of difference when I add the rest of my makeup. My “No Makeup” shot on the left includes just Lancôme DreamTone. My “finished” shot includes Bare Minerals powder, Cover Girl blush, Almay Eyeliner and Almay Mascara. Very simple.Since it’s a very simplistic makeup application, you can see how easy it was for me to look in the mirror and not notice that I forgot to apply it!So… “Forget your makeup? It’s Okay!”For more information on Lancôme DreamTone, visit the Lancôme DreamTone webpage or find them on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube or Twitter.

Sounds like a great product! I don’t use much make-up either, but i really like Lancome products.

That is astonishing! I am familiar with Lancome, but not this product. I have to get some as I don’t like having so apply makeup at all! You look great!
