Disclosure

Anybody who has ever eaten at our house knows who wears the apron in the family. Even if you ask my kids who is most responsible for setting off the smoke alarm, they’ll say “Mom!”. That’s okay though because it has all been a devious plot since the very beginning when I found out that my man knows his way around the kitchen. Why would anyone in their right mind NOT let someone else do most of the cooking?

There is a pitfall though… To get to this point, I had to implement the “You cook, I’ll clean” tactic.

Yes, I know. Cleaning isn’t any fun but it sure is easier than cooking. There isn’t any thought or planning involved. What I’ve learned is that I can’t be frugal when it comes to cleaning supplies. Well… I can… And I do… Then I regret it.

Take for instance the last batch of bacon we made. I have found that less quality cleaners don’t cut the grease very well. Or if I’m doing A LOT of dishes, my hands are ripped up so bad that even lotion doesn’t help. So for times like these, I use higher quality products.

I have used products that include lotion in the detergent and that makes a difference but my latest is to use more natural, but not chemically harsh, Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid. I’ve used and like other Seventh Generation products so it comes as no surprise to me that these work well. Even after washing nonstop Thanksgiving dishes, my hands felt normal. My mom said she often wears rubber gloves but not me. I have enough dexterity issues that wearing gloves while washing dishes just makes me feel fumbly.

I was thrilled to be invited by MyBlogSpark to participate in a giveaway of a package of these fantastic products. If you already use Seventh Generation, I would like to hear what your favorite Seventh Generation cleaning product is. If you haven’t, which do you think you would like to try?

This is my first attempt at using Rafflecopter for my giveaway so please understand if I need to make adjustments! There is only one required entry and everything else is optional but you have to make a comment on the post that says you entered!

The prize pack includes all the items you see in the photo!
