Semi-Annual Top 5 Games Roundup

How did we decide which were the best? We didn’t! Cost, replayability, quality of construction and timelessness all play into our decision of whether or not to feature them here on SahmReviews. This list is derived from all the games we feature, whether brand new or a Thrift Treasure. We have board games, card games, dice games and much more to choose from, but in the end these were the five most viewed by you!

  1. There is something about trench it makes me not sure I would enjoy the game. Need to test it someday to see if I’m wrong.

  2. Trench is starting to peak my interest. Every time I see the board it reminds me of Othello. Walk the Plank looks/sounds like a fun kids game! Might have to add that to the “want” list.

  3. We’re a big fan of card games around here so thanks for the tips. Also Trench looks very cool. Thank you.

  4. I am partial to card games and I do remember reading about these on your posts! Of course I also love certain board games like Scrabble or Monopoly–but the reality is I don’t play games much since I do live alone–I mostly read (as I’m sure you know)

  5. I’d like to try Moose in the House. That’d be fun for my aunt too, who lives in Maine (she had a moose in her yard, thankfully never one in her house). 😉

  6. You all definitely win in the game department! All five of these are new to me but I look forward to learning more about them since we feel games are a great way to spend family time together.
