And Just Like That We Ushered in 2025!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! If you’re a regular around here, you probably noticed that things looked a little different for SAHM Reviews in 2024. Increased commitments elsewhere meant we had to scale back a bit. The most recent change was the departure of giveaways from our holiday agenda. It was a tough decision, but we had our reasons. We may bring them back in 2025, but only time will tell. The good news is that our charity drive to provide games, toys and holiday cheer to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital as well as several local charities was a huge success.

As we roll into 2025 and plan for the new year, I am taking time to reflect and be thankful for the blessings we have. We have a roof over our heads, food on the table, loving family, an abundance of friends and are physically and financially healthy enough to do some traveling. Others are not so lucky. Kennedy dedicates her time and efforts to raising money for the children’s hospital and one of my oldest blogging friends was recently diagnosed with ALS, known more commonly as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. If you feel blessed enough to do so, please considering supporting the children’s hospital dance marathon fundraiser and/or the GoFundMe for Liz’s battle against ALS.

Finally, I want to thank all of you for continuing to be here. To read our stories, our game overviews, our gift guides and anything else we decide to log onto this page. If there are things you miss and would like to see returned in 2025, please let us know. It might be just the nudge we need to bring something back!
