Another tool for the arsenal: BodiShape Cellulite Cream - SahmReviews.com

Each day I look in the mirror and I smile. Unless I’ve been looking at photos of a 20-year-old me, then I’m usually happy with the person staring back at me in the mirror. By exercising, eating right (when I try) and developing good skin care routines, I feel like I’m in better shape and better appearance than I was 10 years ago.

Scratch that. I know I am.

There was a time when I wasn’t so happy with my appearance. I would put Miss M in the stroller and walk to the local 99¢ Only Store ¾ of a mile down the street just to get out of the house. Gyms were expensive and I didn’t know the Y offered free child care so I had excuses for not registering. These walks were one of the few ways I exercised, but I usually left the store with some kind of snack that we would nosh on the entire way back home. Yes, I know it was counter-productive.

Things are very different now. I exercise a few times a week at the Y (except the last few weeks when it’s been crazy busy) and try to run during the summer when the weather cooperates. We have incorporated more salads into our diet, eat less red meat and snack on foods like nuts, imitation crab, tuna or fresh fruit.

Unfortunately, my body shows the signs of wear and tear. I have wrinkles and cellulite in areas generally covered up by clothing (thank goodness). But even though it doesn’t show when I look in the mirror, I know it’s there. Ick. So in addition to the exercise and diet, I’m also trying something new to help… Bodishape Cellulite Cream.

Maybe BodiShape Cream would make a good addition to your routine. - SahmReviews.com

As I’ve said before, I can be a bit of a skeptic when it comes to what seems like a miracle claim. This is no different. Their listing on Amazon contains the following in the title: “Premium Skincare Product, Best Lotion and Treatment Clinically Proven to Get Rid of Cellulite Fast”. The package is labeled “Slimming Contour Cream for Firmer Skin and Cellulite Reduction.”

Hmmm… Proven to get rid of cellulite?

I don’t feel there is any harm in trying something. In my opinion, the worst that could happen is that nothing happens. Last year during my annual exam, my doctor said that I needed to moisturize regularly to reduce the amount of cysts that develop under my skin. I’ve been focusing on that for the past year and have definitely seen improvement. Switching the body lotion I have been using for BodiShape would be no big deal.

The package says to apply it to dry skin in the morning and evening, massaging in an up and down motion instead of a circular. Not sure why but okay that sounds easy enough. Taking photos of my unsightly areas isn’t something I do but I wanted to be able to see if the product was making a difference. As an alternative to photos, I decided to only apply it to half of my body in areas where there is noticeable cellulite or where I have concerns: my stomach, the back of my legs and that area under my arms that is so affectionately referred to by women in my Y class as “the wing”.

Not too thick, not too watery. BodiShape cream spreads easily (and smells good!). - SahmReviews.com

BodiShape Cellulite Cream has a nice scent to it. Half of the time I pick up some hints of mint tone while other times I detect a citrus scent. When I use it, I get a little sensation similar to when I apply Icy Hot, a tingling but not a burn. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and continue to see the same effectiveness (against the cysts) that I did with my previous lotion. I don’t have any complaints about it, however I haven’t noticed any firming or reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Products such as this often require about 30 days of use to see the results and as I mentioned, I haven’t used it that long yet. There’s still time for me to see if it’s works! I’ll be sure to update the post with any further findings.

If you’re looking to try something different, this is worth a shot. It’s currently running just under $40 on Amazon. Not sold on it? They offer a “100% Unconditional, NO RISK Money Back Guarantee if you are dissatisfied for any reason!!” As an alternative, you can enter to win a package to try for yourself.

  1. I’m always very skeptical about this kind of product too. I need to try to remember to stop back in a few weeks to see your update. I’m curious if you’ll find a lasting result.

  2. I could sure use this Body Contour Cream on the backs of my legs. I wonder how it works on OLD skin. Old being the key word. By the way, You are looking wonderful!!

  3. You look great, I’ve been a stay at home mom for many years it shows in how of shape I have become. Something like this would nice to try and help remove the signs of aging and cellulite.

  5. I have to moisturize constantly. I’ve never heard of the up and down (rather than circular) motion. I’ll be curious to know, after some more use, if this product really works.

  6. I have never tried any lotions of this sort before, but I am really curious to know if they’d help get rid of the problem areas I’d rather not show. I think it’s a worthwhile experiment, especially when you consider the guarantees.
