Parm, Brie, Roquefort, Jaq, and Colby are trapped in terrifying nightmares filled with prowling cats, slithering snakes, and watchful predators—and only you can help them wake up.
In this competitive game, players race to be the first to get rid of all their cards by playing stronger combinations than the previous player. You’ll use sets, runs, and powerful trap combinations to outplay your opponents while carefully managing your hand. But Haunted Mouse goes beyond traditional shedding games with its innovative bait system.
Each player starts with a bait card placed on the table, and these cards can be used by anyone—creating a shared resource that adds strategy, risk, and constant interaction. Use bait wisely, because helping yourself might also help your opponents escape faster. Players must think carefully, as cards in hand cannot be rearranged and only adjacent cards can be played together. This restriction introduces an extra layer of planning and clever decision-making. Passing also opens up new tactical options, allowing players to draw from the deck, the public bait pool, or even another player’s bait, creating dynamic and ever-changing gameplay.
