Children of all ages wake up on Christmas morning and head straight to the tree. There’s no doubt that the material things are often the focus of the day. It’s one of the reasons we put together our many gift guides – to aid you in the search for just the right gift to bestow upon your loved ones. But this year has been financially difficult for so many and it’s a reminder that the most valuable gifts to receive don’t come wrapped in colorful paper with a bow on top. Money may be tight, but the gift of time is even more precious. So on this Christmas Day, spend time with the people you care about. Stop by their home to say hello and drop off a plate of cookies. Invite them to dinner or over for a game day. Enjoy the gifts that have been unwrapped, but also enjoy those that are sitting right in front of you.
In the coming days, continue to set aside time for one another, but if you need time to yourself, sneak online and enter some of our many giveaways. There’s an assortment of prizes, but by far the bulk of them revolve around board games. If you happen to end up winning a game, you’ll have a reason to invite people over to play! And THAT is exactly what we should focus on: Time with one another. Not just today, but every day.
From our family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas!
