Autumn means it is time to pull on the Lugz Boots! -

As I stand at my sink washing dishes, I look outside and see some leaves on the trees turning beautiful colors while others lay on the ground waiting for someone to rake them up. I’m filled with a mixture of emotions as I try to navigate whether this makes me happy or not. My bird feeder has less birds than normal and I haven’t seen any chipmunks in the area in a couple weeks. It wasn’t until I moved to Los Angeles and no longer had the experience of viewing the life cycle of the leaves that I realized how glorious it truly is. So I soak up the beauty as much as I can at home as well as when we are in the car. The colors are vibrant and awe-inspiring, but the reality is also quite clear. Winter is just around the corner. It’s frustrating and exciting at the same time. I hate the colder weather, but I treasure the opportunity to put boots on.

You’ve heard me rave about my Lugz boots and how much I totally love them. I do. They are my first choice of footwear whenever I’m wearing jeans. The Sophia boots had a place front and center in my closet because black pretty much goes with anything. But there were a few times I pushed the fashion envelope by wearing them when I probably should have made a better choice. Remember, I said I wore them whenever possible! I’ve been on the lookout for an alternative but hadn’t found it until now: Lugz Flirt Hi Zip boots.

As much as I hate the cold weather, I love being able to pull on a pair of boots. Like my Sophia boots, the Lugz Flirt Hi Zip are stylish and comfortable. While they may look somewhat basic, if you take a closer look, you’ll notice the reason for their name. Lacing the shoes can be cumbersome so the zipper allows me to slip them off and on without having to take the time to re-lace them. Okay, these are officially my favorite lazy-person’s boots!

Cool and comfortable, the Lugz Boomer chukka boots are quickly becoming a favorite. -

There is no doubt how much I expect these to be my new go-to boot and the reason why I’m tolerating the cooler temperatures. Of course, I’m also excited that Scott was able to find a new pair that he claims may be his new favorite. The Lugz Boomer chukkas are stylish and they fit is feet well. He’s worn them several times since getting them and hasn’t had any issues with the discomfort that often comes with new footwear.

We’re thrilled that Lugz is allowing us to the opportunity to introduce one of our readers to these new favorites. Check out Lugz on Twitter and Facebook to keep up with their latest styles and enter to win one of these boots.
