New Game Release – Thunder Road: Ignition
Restoration Games has released Thunder Road: Ignition, the latest version of their award-winning game, into retail.
The critically acclaimed Thunder Road is getting a new chassis and a fresh coat of paint. Thunder Road: Ignition is an all-new, standalone base game set in the world of post-apocalyptic racing. It uses the same core system with tweaks to game play and components to streamline play for an easier and quicker point-of-entry, all in a smaller box and cheaper price point.
The new version features four new car crew colors and half-sized road boards – now with curves! Also included are new commands, terrain, and damage effects. Much of the new content can be combined with the original Vendetta and existing expansions.
Ignition offers a great opportunity to bring new players into the world of Thunder Road – perfect for families and casual players – while also providing a host of new content for existing fans
Designed by Noah Cohen, Rob Daviau, Justin D. Jacobson and Justin Kemppainen, Thunder Road: Ignition is for two to four players, ages eight and up, and plays in twenty-five to forty-five minutes. It retails for $35.00.
