Mega Giveaway Day 48 – Escape From the Aliens in Outer Space Game
I’ve always been a fan of things that give me a rush of adrenaline such as scary movies and roller coasters. It wasn’t until about year ago when I played Escape From the Aliens in Outer Space did I realize a board game could provide the same excitement. We still regularly introduce the game to others during game nights and included it in our gift guide filled with games great for a party. We’re doing one more thing… adding it to our 150+ Days of Giveaways in the Day 48 spot on the calendar. If Escape From the Aliens in Outer Space from Osprey Games sounds like your kind of game, enter to win!
150+ Days of Giveaways – Day 48 – Escape From the Aliens in Outer Space Game
I think it really depends on the book itself, and the author. If I enjoy the story the fear aspect can be great.
I have always been a fan of the horror genre so whether it’s a touch of fear or a lot, I am okay with it.
I am a big fan of horror films and alien syfy movies. I’ve never played a game with an element of fear but it sounds like it would be something I could really get into.
I do, but not generally the ones solely made for horror. Stranger Things is great, yes, but not the Saw and other movies like it.
I like suspense and intensity- but even though straight up fear gets my adrenaline going it also prevents me from having normal comfortable sleep for days.
i dont like them too much, fear leaves me feeling violated
I like games/movies that are intense, and scary is fine as long as it doesn’t get into demonic or elder gods – those just don’t sit well with me.
Occasionally, I like it. I have to be in the mood for it, but anything that lets you transcend your ordinary way of being is worthwhile, I guess… 😉
Not really
I’m afraid to answer! 😉
Absolutely! I love a good suspense/thriller/horror, but very few actually scare me
Horror is what I spend most of my movie time on, though I can’t remember ever getting fear off of a book or movie.
Yes, I think Aliens is one of my favorites in this genre.
Yes it is my favorite. Love scary movies and books.
Depending on the age of the players, a little bit of fear can be an important element. I enjoy it, but would not recommend it in games for the younger set when everything seems so real.
There are different kinds of fear. The suspenseful movies are good. The Alien movies were awesome.
I’m ok with silly fear, and suspense, but not so much jump scares just for the sake of them.
I love anything to do with fear. I find the basic horror novel is better than any movie produced today.
In my opinion, fear can be part of suspense & decent mysteries have suspense! I like hanging on every word waiting for the “ball” to drop or something.
Sure do…currently re-reading Stephen King’s “It.”
Yes, love it.
Not too much fear but suspense is great!
I’m a big fan of fear
Sure, as long as it’s not too graphic.
Suspense and tension can be cathartic when the plot climax hits. I enjoy a good scare every once in a while.
I am a fan of true crime especially books, so that would be considered fear. The game would be for my son, though who also is a fan of horror.
Definitely- I’ve always preferred fear/terror to gore personally when it comes to horror.
I enjoy movies books and games that add an element of fear because fear generally adds to the mystery in a sense. I am not a really big supporter of violence but some fear may be quite alright in most circumstances.
I’m a bit ambivalent when it comes to fear elements. I’m usually not to interested in flat-out horror stories, per se. However, Alien and The Thing (Kurt Russel version) are some of my favorite movies… I guess science fiction trumps horror sometimes.
Would be nice in the collection
Oh my gosh, YES! One of my favorite authors is H.P. Lovecraft.
Ye s, I love scary movies.
Not a Horror guy.
Suspense but not graphic slaughter
I *love* horror-themed board games, as well as fiction that employs fear, especially psychological thrillers. Movies, not so much.
Suspense yes gore no
Oh yes! I really do.
sure..so long as the board doesnt threaten to blow up
Of course!
I love horror but not jumpy boo type horror
Definitely.
It depends on how it’s executed; usually it takes a strong theme to make the fear element work
I love to get scared, even if I do watch my movies with the lights on and usually from between my fingers!!!
I like them to be fun and comical.
I love scary things as scary as possible. even when they make it hard for me to sleep. Adding in comedy is okay, as long as it’s not stupid or overdone.
I’m not a fan of horror.
That’s way maybe I’m more curious about this game… We never know what surprises can we find in some gems 😉
Yes, fear is fun!
Yes, I love scary things!!!
