New Game Release – Skyward Republic

Good Games Publishing has released Skyward Republic, a card-based game about a solarpunk city in the clouds, into retail.

Using a high-tension pile draft, you collect cards and build a sky-city tableau of connected cards, airships and feathered critters. A simple but deep combination-building system generates a mix of economy and point-scoring, while vehicles and critters move around your city to create interconnecting opportunities and risks.

Race to finish your sector, win over powerful benefactors whose goals reward forward planning and good timing, and find the point combos to build the sector of Skyward Republic.

Designed by Brendan Evans, Skyward Republic is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in thirty to seventy-five minutes. It is available in retail stores for $34.99.
