New Game Release – Windmill Valley
Board & Dice has released Windmill Valley, a competitive strategy game about the famous Dutch tulip industry, into retail.
It’s the late 19th century, and more than 9000 windmills dot the landscape of the Netherlands, some of them primarily built to dry the lowlands, called Polders. Between the windmills there are fields filled with colorful tulips, a flower that was once a part of the turbulent history of the first financial bubble, now quintessential part of the Dutch landscape, especially on the famous Bloemen Route (Flower Route).
Windmill Valley, a game inspired by the Bloemen Route, gives you a unique opportunity to become a tulip farmer and entrepreneur. You will build and enhance your windmills, look for new tulip bulbs to plant, and try to get an edge with hired help and lucrative contracts.
Let your blooming fields make your competitors green with envy!
Windmill Valley is for one to four players, ages fourteen and up, and plays in forty-five to ninety minutes. It retails for $59.99!
Board & Dice also previously released Nucleum (see “Nucleum board game“).
