Razors, RockBand3 and a Giveaway

After months of being trapped indoors, the winter blues start to get us. It’s frustrating and tiring. We count down to the warmer months where we can shed some layers of clothes and get outside and enjoy the fresh air.

With summer comes bare legs.  Yeah, that’s great…  Except that I’m lazy and that means I have to shave my legs more than once a week.  Ugh.  Since I’m cheap, I usually buy razors in bulk and make due with them for as long as possible.  I’ve encouraged my husband to use Schick Quattro – which he likes – but I’ve never purchased or tried those for myself.

So when I had the opportunity to sample one as part of a campaign through Family Review Network, the hair on my legs stood up and said “Yes, please!”

When the package arrived, I expected it would be a Quattro for Women but it was actually just a regular Quattro Titanium.  Did I care?  Nope.  It was still tons better than what I was using.  So I brought it to the shower with me to try it out.

What did I think?  Loved it.  It worked well (duh, it has twice as many blades) and didn’t cause a rash of any sort.  I have pretty sensitive skin and often battle razor burn, even when I use shave gels or creams. This one didn’t give me any grief and left my legs feeling smooth.

What didn’t I like?  Well… I checked them out at the store and they are more expensive than what I currently use.  I’ll remind you that I’m cheap so that’s tough for me.  However, if I watch for them to go on sale and use a coupon, it’s worth the extra cost.  I just need to do that!
