Taco Cat Games has released Oh No Banana Joe!, a memory speed card game, into retail.

Players pick five cards and try to memorize the hidden tasks before they are hidden under the numbered cover cards. The judge then flips “Flip” cards until a numbered card appears, and the two active players then go head-to-head against another player to complete the matching challenge first. Play then shifts one to the left, with one player playing twice in a row.

With 24 action cards and 24 verbal challenges in the mix, every game brings something new, from shouting phrases to naming things at speed, all wrapped around the game’s lovably goofy banana and monkey characters. Win your duel and take the stack of cards, with the player holding the most cards when the deck runs out claiming victory.

The constant but light-hearted head-to-head format keeps energy high for everyone at the table, not just the two dueling, without feeling overly competitive. This leads to countless memorable and hilarious moments. Compact and portable, it travels easily and fits any occasion from birthday parties and sleepovers to road trips and classroom icebreakers.

Oh No Banana Joe! is for three to six players, ages seven and up, and plays in around ten minutes. It retails for only $9.99!

Taco Cat Games also previously released Stack Nabbit (see “Stack Nabbit card game“).
