Summertime is Music Time
All over the country during the Summer season, thoughts turn to music. Why you ask? Summer is the time for outdoor concerts, state fairs and even local music festivals. We’ve attended a number of outdoor performances by Gaelic Storm, one of our favorite bands to watch. This year our county fair will even feature Cheap Trick, Lady Antebellum and Alan Jackson!
Best Buy knows how music is an integral part of all of our lives. That’s why in preparation for colder weather (and inside listening), they celebrate their own AudioFest and feature great audio products for the home that push the technology barrier. Gone are the days of large floor-standing speakers hooked up to a receiver and amp. Today our music is delivered wirelessly from our smart devices directly to inconspicuous speakers placed around the house. Here’s a great example of a hub & speaker combo that can be upgraded as you want to extend your listening to other rooms.
The Samsung Shape Wireless Audio is an expandable system. Music can follow you anywhere in your house and you can play one song in any or all rooms, or different songs in different room from any number of speakers. Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® connectivity lets you send music from your library or favorite app straight to your AC powered speaker. You can easily control volume, streaming services and playlists, or even switch to a speaker in a different room.
Easily connect your wireless speakers with this Samsung hub that is designed for use with WAM750/751 wireless speakers and select Apple® and Android devices. This allows you to connect multiple devices and speakers and helps you create a whole-home audio solution. Super-easy to set up and placement should be in any central location in your house.
Beginning 8/3/14 through 8/30/14 Best Buy will feature one month of deals, audio specials, events & more, and is widely-known as their AudioFest. They gather the best offers on the best audio products throughout the entire month and have specialists on staff to teach you how to upgrade your sound. These savings will only last until the end of the month, so once the kids are back in school, head on over to Best Buy and treat yourself to a better audio experience. Your ears deserve it.

You get some big names at your county fair. I need to check ours out and see who is going to be there.
Hi, Great information to know about Best Buy. I probably should have waited to buy my tablet but I need to start looking out for more of your posts.
Thanks for sharing.
That looks like a great system! I’m a big fan of Samsung but only have their TV’s and usually go for Bose for sound. Will have to tell hubby about this.
Great information. Samsung have one of the best systems for anyone looking to buy a new system. Prices are reasonable too. Summer is music time indeed.
I’ll have to check out the AudioFest. I am in the market for some new toys 🙂
I haven’t tried a wireless speaker yet, but I sure could think of a thousand places where I’d like one. Well, maybe out the audiod, but you get the idea. I’ll check out the AudioFest. I do love a good reason to go to Best Buy. 🙂
It should say, ‘well maybe not a thousand, but you get the idea.’ No idea what happened there, but it made me laugh. 🙂
I love my wireless speaker – such a great invention, but I could use an upgrade
We love music in our home and listen to it as often as we can. I love the high quality products from Best Buy and will need to check this out.
I love how good the quality of wireless speakers has gotten. We have speakers in several rooms of our house and they just sound amazing!
Hi Nicole! I love that hub. Such a cool idea. Time we take a trip to Best Buy! Thanks for the tech review.
I love wireless speakers.. it gives me so much freedom ti music listening..
I love music and as of late I have noticed the importance of good speakers as well. I am going to check these out, thanks.
We love wireless speakers in our house and I would love a nice wireless surround sound for our living room one day.
I sure could use one of those speakers around here. Thanks for the tip!
Summertime IS music time! I’m really liking those wireless speakers, we could totally use a set of them!
I don’t have the type of electronics that will work with what you just described. Too bad–that sounds like an amazing speaker! Different rooms-different music. I Love it!
Looks like I’ll need to go and check out audiofest, see if they’ve got anything that’ll catch my eye.
Thanks for this roundup! I’m envious of your county fair, though I live near Raleigh and our state fair rocks! We also have Hopscotch Festival in September. 🙂
I am luvn these wireless speakers, and you’re right…who doesn’t love music? Oh, and Cheap Trick still rocks!
That looks like a great system! I’ve been looking for a way to listen to my music around the house.
I’d love to see Lady Antebellum! Can’t believe they will be at your fair!
That is an impressive county fair. Ours have nothing like that – although the New York State fair, an hour from where I live, has some very impressive acts.
It would be wonderful to have the same music playing in every room of the house. You could float around on a dream.
