Horrible Guild has released Similo: 10 Years of Horribleness, a special limited edition of Similo to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Horrible Guild, into retail.

This new game-filled edition of the critically acclaimed deduction game comes with a deck of 34 big cards beautifully illustrated by the many artists that Horrible Guild worked with over the years, showing art (some of which were specifically made for this deck) from the games of Horrible Guild’s history.

The Clue Giver must lead the Guessers to identify one Secret Card by playing other cards from their hand as Clues. There are two kind kinds of Clues: Remove Clues (cards played horizontally, which have something similar to one or more cards the Guessers should remove) or Keep Clues (cards played vertically, which have something similar to one or more cards the Guessers should keep).

For example, the Secret Card is the The King’s Dilemma. You could play the Alone as a Keep Clue, to suggest to the Guessers that the cards to keep are games for experts, with a big box, with dark cover art, or games from 2019. Or, you might play the Quicksand as a Remove Clue, to point out that the cards to remove are party games, have an abstract theme, or include unusual components… it will be up to the Guessers to understand what the Clue Giver is trying to suggest!

There are different versions of Similo! If you have more than one, you can combine two different decks of cards to create new and interesting strategies! Just choose two versions of Similo and use one as the Guessing deck and the other as the Clue deck.

Similo: 10 Years of Horribleness is for two or more players, ages seven and up, and plays in around ten minutes. It retails for only $10.00.

Horrible Guild also previously released Evergreen: Pines and Cacti (see “Evergreen: Pines and Cacti“).
