Enjoyed a tour of some of the parks and trails here in Bettendorf Iowa. Lived a good portion of my life here and never been on this trail. Learned about the frisbee golf courses, handicapped accessible playgrounds and all the nature spots that run through the middle of our city. Fun fact for trail aficionados, the Mississippi River Trail (north/south) and American Discovery Trail (east/west) that cross the country both go through this area. We signed up for this tour on a whim and I’m glad we did. While some people are celebrating all things PSL, some of us are living in the moment with watermelon. So many watermelon-based products available including @wondermelonjuice cold-pressed juice, @drinkmonaco adult beverages (both beverages pictured were provided) and a watermelon Moscato (not available in my area but sounds amazing) to name a few. What I thought of the samples:
Wonder Melon is incredibly refreshing but I’m not surprised. Watermelon is my go-to fruit whenever I can get it. Drink this one as is or use as a base for cocktails. While I normally wouldn’t gravitate toward a tequila drink, Watermelon Crush from Monaco was delicious. Perfect for game night, tailgating or cocktail hour. Can’t wait to try the other flavors too!
