Something for Everyone at the Theater in April 2026

Normal, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and You, Me & Tuscany are three of the movies releasing in theaters in April 2026 - SahmReviews.com

I typically like to get this monthly movie post out before the first weekend of the month, but sometimes that just is not possible. A busy March schedule that included GAMA Expo (the game industry trade show), Unpub Festival (a convention for game prototypes), TokenCon (a meet-up style convention in Oklahoma City) and a private event at The Gamer’s Ranch in Missouri. Surprisingly, we were STILL able to make it to the theater during the month. Project Hail Mary was fantastic. April has a little bit more flexible schedule, but it’s kind of crazy, too. With a variety of genres to choose from, you can bet that we’ll make time for a few of these upcoming movies! Check out what is slated for the April big screen:

As authorities race against time to contain the crisis, alliances blur and moral boundaries are crossed, the film deftly propels audiences through a series of calculated twists delivering a wildly entertaining ride.

Despite a busy schedule, we still find time to soak in a good feature at the theater. While options are available to watch at home, we just don’t prioritize them once they leave the big screen. And let’s be honest, nothing can match a good tub of fresh, buttery popcorn.
