Last month, there was an abundance of thrillers released on the big screen. What a great way to kick off 2025! But if you think Valentine’s Day means February is going to be filled with nothing but love and romance, you’re going to be surprised by the assortment of movies releasing at the theaters this month. As you’ll see when you scroll, there are family-friendly options, as well as horror films, action-adventures, thrillers, dramas and comedies. While there’s plenty to choose from, the top of my list is naturally Captain America: Brave New World. We bought tickets the first day possible! I put a lot of work into finding new movie releases each month and gathering information so you can work more movies into your schedule. But also regularly check your local theater. Sometimes there are regional or limited releases (which we don’t generally add here). We’ve seen two recently that weren’t even on our radar.
