Be Thankful and Present This Thanksgiving
Another year has flown by and here we are amidst the holiday madness again. We’ve been hard at work for several months featuring new game releases. This new series of articles isn’t as detailed as our overviews, but we’ve been adding those in where we can as well. As with other years, we have crafted multiple holiday gift guides to offer assistance in finding unique ideas for your gift recipients. These lists hopefully help you check things off your shopping list.
Some of the changes you’ve seen have been the result of extra work outside SAHM Reviews. Scott continues to create games while I’ve been dedicating a lot of time to volunteering for GAMA, the game industry’s trade association. We’ve also made a point of prioritizing ourselves and have been traveling to some places on our bucket list. There are constant reminders that tomorrow is never guaranteed. As ominous as that sounds, Thanksgiving is time to recognize it.
While I am thankful of you and your support of SAHM Reviews, today I’m going to encourage you to stop surfing. As family and friends gather together, set down your phones and enjoy the time with one another. Play games or work on a puzzle together. Sit around and talk. Help with the cooking and cleaning. Call people who aren’t celebrating with you and take pictures with the ones who are. Simply be present.
We want to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the food, the family, the friends and the joy. We’ll see you tomorrow!
