New Game Release – Pollen

Allplay has released Pollen, a game where you compete to surround three distinct types of insects to win shiny meeples, into retail.

Grow a lush garden of beautiful blooms to attract helpful pollinators to their favorite flowers. Lay tiles in the right spots so that the insects pollinate your flowers instead of your opponents’.

Reiner Knizia has two interesting mechanics that really give this game its bones. The “attract” rule promises a highly interactive game, and the end game scoring will make you pay extra attention to which types of insects you are collecting.

Beth Sobel’s incredible illustrations combine with stellar components to tie it all together. With Pollen, you can create a stunning garden right on your table!
