Holiday Giveaways 2023 – The Very Hungry Caterpillar Rainbow Picnic Game by University Games
As I’m sure is the case in other school districts, The Very Hungry Caterpillar was a popular teaching tool. Our daughters both put on performances with their classmates, each taking turns reciting the book aloud. The book is popular with both parents and students which makes it a perfect license to add to a game. We included this title from University Games in our list of classic games. Many kids are more apt to ask to play games if they are familiar with the topic so this makes a great gift idea! Help build the next generation of gamers by gifting The Very Hungry Caterpillar Rainbow Picnic game to youngsters this holiday season. Enter to win a copy for your family or to keep on hand for later gifting!

Reading the book as a child!
Reading it to my daughter. And then her ”reading” it to herself, long before she could actually read.

Reading this book as a child !
My favorite memory of The Very Hungry Caterpillar franchise is having a toy where you could take pieces and put together your very own caterpillar!
I don’t have any childhood memories of this, but I do have beautiful memories of reading it to my children!
Reading the book to my kids.
My mom loves this Eric Carle, Brown Bear is her favorite, I remember she would often recite the books, while doing stuff around the house, she was an Infant Teacher and knew everyone by heart as she always readd them to the babies and gifted the books to new mothers. I often buy her Eric Carle stuff even though she’s retired, and has no grandbabies yet to share them with!
My kids have all loved Eric Carle Books. My teenager with autism still does.
