Wishing You a Safe and Celebratory 4th!

Today isn’t just a day off from work and an opportunity to grill out or attend a parade. It’s a day to celebrate the representation of our freedom. When I posted a year ago, I formulated my thoughts on setting differences aside and coming together. Having visited Philadelphia and seeing the places where the magic happened, I was moved. I shared that in last year’s post, and I wish I had that same optimism this year. Sadly, it appears the nation continues to divide.

The best we can do is focus on making our little corner of the world the best it can be. If enough people have that mindset then we will can head in the right direction.

So today, as you attend those barbeques and parades and enjoy the day off, be kind and friendly to those around you. Light the fireworks and be happy that we have the freedom to do all these things.
