  1. I think it really depends on the book itself, and the author. If I enjoy the story the fear aspect can be great.

  2. I am a big fan of horror films and alien syfy movies. I’ve never played a game with an element of fear but it sounds like it would be something I could really get into.

  3. I do, but not generally the ones solely made for horror. Stranger Things is great, yes, but not the Saw and other movies like it.

  4. I like suspense and intensity- but even though straight up fear gets my adrenaline going it also prevents me from having normal comfortable sleep for days.

  5. I like games/movies that are intense, and scary is fine as long as it doesn’t get into demonic or elder gods – those just don’t sit well with me.

  6. Occasionally, I like it. I have to be in the mood for it, but anything that lets you transcend your ordinary way of being is worthwhile, I guess… 😉

  7. Horror is what I spend most of my movie time on, though I can’t remember ever getting fear off of a book or movie.

  8. Depending on the age of the players, a little bit of fear can be an important element. I enjoy it, but would not recommend it in games for the younger set when everything seems so real.

  9. In my opinion, fear can be part of suspense & decent mysteries have suspense! I like hanging on every word waiting for the “ball” to drop or something.

  10. I am a fan of true crime especially books, so that would be considered fear. The game would be for my son, though who also is a fan of horror.

  11. I enjoy movies books and games that add an element of fear because fear generally adds to the mystery in a sense. I am not a really big supporter of violence but some fear may be quite alright in most circumstances.

  12. I’m a bit ambivalent when it comes to fear elements. I’m usually not to interested in flat-out horror stories, per se. However, Alien and The Thing (Kurt Russel version) are some of my favorite movies… I guess science fiction trumps horror sometimes.

  13. I *love* horror-themed board games, as well as fiction that employs fear, especially psychological thrillers. Movies, not so much.

  14. I love scary things as scary as possible. even when they make it hard for me to sleep. Adding in comedy is okay, as long as it’s not stupid or overdone.

  15. I’m not a fan of horror.
That’s way maybe I’m more curious about this game… We never know what surprises can we find in some gems 😉
