Love a good cup of coffee? We found our perfect brewing system. - SahmReviews.com

Don’t laugh, but I have a confession to make. While our family room is loaded with board games (thanks to the obsession Scott and I share for wanting one of every game ever), our kitchen plays host to more than one coffee pot. I wish I could share the blame with him on that one but since he doesn’t like coffee, I can’t really pull that off.

This problem is mine and mine alone. Do I look ashamed? Not. At. All. While some people fancy themselves as fanatics and spend big bucks at the local coffee shop, I do not. That place on every corner that was the subject of holiday red cup controversy is a place I seldom step into. I literally only ever get it when I travel or it’s a special occasion and a coupon for a free one shows up in my mailbox.

Do you have a coffee pot collection taking up a lot of counter space? - SahmReviews.com

Instead, I test out coffee pots so that I can brew my perfect cup right on my own countertop. I’ve told you about a few and each has advantages and disadvantages. I tried the iCoffee to replace my regular drip maker and loved the patented brewing process that provided a smooth taste. Unfortunately, it meant I had to make a whole pot and since I’m the only one in the family that drinks coffee, that wasn’t practical. I think the Keurig is a great product with the ability to brew a cup or a carafe, but being required to purchase specialty cups wasn’t my cup of tea. I tolerated it and purchased the cups but I certainly wasn’t thrilled. It actually made me drink less coffee, so that’s a plus. Then iCoffee Opus came out with a system to brew individual cups, but when company stopped by I needed to the ability to brew a pot. The result: Two coffee makers on the counter at all times. Seriously not very practical.

Of course, the reason I continue to test out new ones is because it gives me the opportunity to find one that perfectly fits my needs and demands. Guess what… I found it in the Touch T526S Brewing System! Let me outline exactly why I suspect this will earn the prime spot on my countertop.

This coffee maker accommodates a cup or a carafe!

That’s right folks. No longer will I need to have two coffee makers on my counter. The Touch T526S Brewing System provides the options of making a single cup or an entire carafe. It’s the only system I’ve discovered that allows this without other restrictions.

Size Doesn’t Matter

We’re still talking about coffee, people. As I said a minute ago, with the Touch T526S Brewing System, you can brew an entire carafe of coffee or just a cup. You remove the drip tray for the carafe or leave it in for a cup. The design allows for tall cups, wide-mouth cups and travel mugs as well. My only complaint is that it tended to splash a little when I used a short, wide cup, but that’s a minor issue since I usually spill a little when stirring in the sweetener. If you’re wondering how big (or small) you can go, the system has settings to brew 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz, 16 oz, 18 oz or carafe. Maybe size does matter… you have to know how many grounds to use!

No Special Cups or Pods Required with the Touch T526S

Once upon a time in the 1970s I was a little girl with an Easy Bake Oven. I remember running out of the special cake kits and feeling helpless. There wasn’t an internet to search to find the proper proportions and the inventors of Pinterest hand’t even been born yet to find other uses for my little oven. I sill hold a grudge of feeling tethered to a particular product and that’s what some coffee pots do. They only work when you purchase their special pods that hold the coffee grounds. The Touch T526S Brewing System overcomes that issue by including a cup holder so you can use your favorite pre-measured coffee grounds such as K-Cups as well as including a refill cup so you can use your own grounds.

Provides a Smooth-Tasting Coffee

A coffee maker can be perfectly designed and have great features, but it also has to taste good. After being spoiled by my prior coffee makers, I was sure this is the category where the Touch T526S Brewing System would fall short. I was wrong. The coffee was smooth and tasted delicious. The fact that I can use as much or little of my own grounds makes the taste even sweeter.

You don’t have to be a coffee connoisseur to fall in love with this coffee brewing system. Visit the Touch Beverage or Touch Brew websites, like their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter to learn more. When you’re done with that, come back and enter to win a Touch T526S Brewing system for your own home.

  1. I think my favorite feature is the fact that you do not have to use those expensive little cups! That just makes no sense to me and why I am still using my plastic cone for making a single cup of coffee! My biggest problem is if others come over–this machine seems to have that covered.

  2. I LOVE that you can make a cup or a carafe! I’m usually the only one drinking coffee too, but there are those times when we’re hosting a party and I have to spend 30 min. making individual cups of coffee with my keurig.

  3. I like my coffee strong with some coconut milk, pureed pumpkin, and a little cinnamon.
I actually like to eat a banana with my coffee 🙂

  4. I love Nonni’s Biscotti with my coffee. And I bought refillable pods for my K-cup machine. I refuse to pay so much for pods. But I do have to pull out Mr. Coffee for a pot.

  5. I love my coffee with cream and sugar. I love having my morning coffee with granola. I think I would LOVE the Touch brewer! It looks amazing!

  6. I like my coffee with Truvia and Vanilla Creamer and a pinch of cinnamon. It may sound gross, but it’s really good! And I don’t like to eat anything with my coffee. That IS my breakfast!

  10. I am not a big coffee drinker, because caffeine bothers me and makes me jittery. But In the winter sometimes I just like having something to wake me up! If I could make hot chocolate and also tea with this that would be awesome! I like that it doesn’t require those K Cups because those are not biodegradable! When I do drink coffee I like lots of creamer, or I like to drink French Vanilla Cappucino!
