I really wish our local movie cinema would offer season passes. We spend a lot of time catching movies on the big screen and the lineup of Disney movies for 2015 is evidence that we’ll be there a lot again THIS year.

Let’s start by saying if you haven’t caught the December movie releases yet, there is still time before they leave the theater. We still have Into the Woods on our winter break to-do list. Here’s the scheduled calendar of Disney movies for 2015 that includes a variety of movie types: from princesses to motivational, nature to super hero and of course, Star Wars. Simply put, there’s something for everyone.

Strange Magic (Touchstone Pictures / Lucasfilm)

Release Date: January 23, 2015
Genre: Animated Comedy-Adventure

Monkey Kingdom (Disneynature)

  1. The Good Dinosaur kinda looks adorable.
    Of course all the Marvel movies are on the top of my list.
    I just realized the other day that I don’t understand why we have two Howard Starks. We have one that plays in the Captain America franchise and one that plays in the Iron Man franchise who is apparently bleeding into the Ant Man franchise.

  4. Lots of good ones are coming out this year. I won some movie tickets so I’ll have to go see one of these when they are released. My kids love Disney movies.

  6. Wow, that is a lineup of some movies that my family and I will sure want to go see! And by the way, we went to see “Into the Woods” and it’s definitely worth a trip to the theatre!

  7. Sad, but the animated short Lava looked the most interesting. However I’m sure I’ll see half of these in the theaters anyway with my kids. Thanks for the news.

  8. Sounds like some good actors, good directors and some good movies coming and I always look forward to anything Steven Spielberg does.
