When I was growing up, I remember the battle we had between who got to tear off the top to the cereal box and at what point. At the time, by turning in the entire top to the cereal box, we helped our school get things like playground or gym equipment.  There was a box in the classroom that we dropped them into and it was always such a joy to feel like we were contributing.

Like 148% of the households out there, I am the primary car caretaker in the family. Whether it is changing oil, topping of fluids or applying a thick coat of wax, I am the only one who practices “A stitch in time saves nine”.

“Daddy! Your shoes smell funny!”. This is result of our playful “Stinky Feet” games, where we (I) put our (my) feet in my children’s faces and yell, “Stinky Feet”. They are still young, but can appreciate a good prank when they see it. Mom, not so much.
